Four cities.
One river of faith.
We take travellers along the ghats of Varanasi, the sacred confluence at Prayagraj, the birthplace temples of Ayodhya, and the Bodhi shade of Gaya — with local pandits, verified stays, and a route we've walked for eighteen years.
"You don't book a trip with us. You join a route that sadhus, poets, and pilgrims have walked for two thousand years."
Triveni Trails is a Varanasi-based travel house working the pilgrim belt of eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar — Kashi, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, and Gaya. We started in 2007 running boat darshans on the Ganga at dawn; today we run the full circuit door to door.
Every itinerary is built around darshan timings, not tourist hours — early aartis, temple queues, priest bookings, and river crossings are handled before you land. Sattvic meals, AC transport, and English/Hindi-speaking guides are standard, not upsells.
The four stops of the circuit
Each city can be booked alone or strung together as one uninterrupted yatra — we handle the road and rail transfers between all four.

Built by people who grew up on these ghats
We're headquartered in Varanasi. This isn't a franchise route — it's the four cities our guides call home.
Local, verified guides
Every guide is based in the city they walk you through, empanelled with local temple trusts for smoother darshan access.
Darshan-timed itineraries
Routes are built around aarti and temple hours, not standard tourist slots — so you're never queuing at the wrong hour.
Sattvic meals, always
Pure vegetarian, onion-garlic-free meal options on every itinerary, including on trains and long road transfers.
Elder & family friendly
Wheelchair-accessible boats and vehicles, slower-paced versions of every itinerary, and support staff for senior travellers.
Ritual assistance
Pooja, pind daan, and pitru paksha rites arranged with vetted pandits — priced transparently, no last-minute asks.
24×7 on-ground support
A local coordinator's number is shared before you travel — reachable through the whole trip, not just office hours.
What the road has sounded like
"The 4am boat ride in Varanasi was arranged perfectly — our guide knew exactly which ghat to watch the sun come up from."
"Getting my parents through the Ram Mandir queue without hours of standing was the best part of the whole trip."
"We came to Gaya for my father's pind daan. The team handled every ritual detail with real care, not just logistics."
